In the many years of my working for the Siemens company health insurance, I acquired extensive knowledge about work-related phenomena like mobbing and burnout syndrome. I am also familiar with the corporate and economic circumstances that can lead to this kind of problem. Another important field of coaching is counseling people experiencing a major change. My own educational and work experience has taught me that taking a detour usually leads to better orientation. To me, it has been important and gratifying to find a fulfilling task in life. Giving one’s personal qualities a professional identity is an essential component of humanistic psychology, a discipline that is well known for its orientation of meaningful values. Or of a visionary like Steve Jobs:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. … Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary… Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.“
